Who is Naughty Bikkies?
Naughty Bikkies was born from a mix of nostalgia, courage and a lot of heart.
My name is Alexandra. I’m a Chilean woman, a mum, and I’ve been living in Australia for over 11 years. I’m 42, and like many women who move far from home, I’ve had to reinvent myself more than once.
I studied design back in Chile and worked for years in the creative world, but deep down I always felt something was missing. Life moved fast, work, family, starting over in a new country, until one day I found myself back in the kitchen, baking. Slowly, something clicked.
What started as a simple idea turned into Naughty Bikkies: a small, handmade baking business inspired by Latin flavours, childhood memories and the joy of sharing something sweet with the people you love.
I began with alfajores, then brownies, cake pops, cookies… learning, testing, improving with every batch. Today, I sell online and at local markets around Brisbane, baking everything fresh to order, by hand, with care and intention. No factory lines, no shortcuts, just honest baking made by a real person.
Naughty Bikkies is about more than desserts.
It’s about starting again, even when it feels scary.
It’s about proving that it’s never too late to build something of your own.
And it’s about showing other women, especially Latin mums living far from home, that our stories, flavours and dreams, matter.
This business is still growing, just like me. I want Naughty Bikkies to be a space where people feel comfort, warmth and a little joy in every bite. And I hope it inspires others to believe that small beginnings can turn into something beautiful.
Thank you for being here and supporting a small, woman-owned business made with love, resilience and a touch of Latin soul.
Why the name Naughty Bikkies?
If you’ve ever walked past our stall at a market, you’ve probably seen it happen.
People spot the A-frame, read Naughty Bikkies… and smile.
Some laugh. Some raise an eyebrow. And some kids read it out loud with great excitement.
One day, a little girl, maybe 10 years old, tugged at her mum and said,
“Look, look! It says naughty!”
Her mum laughed, and a few minutes later another woman came over and asked me,
“Why Naughty Bikkies?”
That moment sums it up perfectly.
In Spanish, we have so many words to describe feelings, cravings and emotion, especially when it comes to food. When something is really good, we don’t hold back. It’s not just tasty… it’s intense, comforting, indulgent, and a little bit cheeky.
Naughty felt like the right word.
Not because our bikkies are bad, but because they’re bold in flavour, rich, generous and made to be enjoyed without guilt. The kind of treat you sneak an extra bite of. The one you promise to share… and don’t.
Naughty Bikkies is about embracing pleasure, flavour and joy.
It’s playful, warm and approachable, just like the way I bake and the way I want people to feel when they try my products.
As a brand, Naughty Bikkies doesn’t take itself too seriously.
It’s friendly, a little cheeky, and full of heart. It welcomes everyone, families, kids, adults, sweet tooths and snackers alike. No fancy rules, no pressure. Just good baking that makes people smile.
At the end of the day, if a name makes you laugh, sparks curiosity and makes you want to stop and take a look… then it’s already doing its job.
And if it makes you crave a brownie or an alfajor while you’re at it, even better.
